Voting Question: Is Papiss Demba Cisse worthy of the coveted Black&White Newcastle Number Nine? more...
1/19/2012 10:19:51 AM
I think he might be, especially as he has the blessings of the legend that is Alan Shearer; “You can look into it as much as you want, but there’s no doubt that it’s a special shirt. You can say the same about the No 7 at Liverpool or the No 10 at Tottenham Hotspur. It’s one of those positions that people look at." “The most important thing is that Cisse actually wants to wear it, he wants that responsibility and that’s half the battle. There are expectations that come with it, but the biggest is a simple one – that you score goals.”...Still buzzing over his signing!

Resolved Question: Yesterday's 0-0 draw against Stoke was very fustrating to watch ? more...
1/15/2012 5:11:15 AM
And then Kuyt's diving header that went agonising wide - thats all the game needed to swing our way, and for us to get the 3 points. Huth, Woodgate, Shawcross were very strong and physical at the back and did a remarkable job keeping the shop SHUT all afternoon against us - they made life as difficult as possible for Andy Carrol. Three very strong, physical in your face kind of players. One thing I admire about Andy Carrol is his professionalism and patience. Not once did he lose it or throw in the towell he kept trying, but as I said - we were up against a really commited, dedicated gritty tough Stoke rearguard yesterday. I feel that Kenny should have gone 4-4-2 last night instead of 5-4-1 - Gerrard was unable to be as effective as I've known him to be - nonetheless, the fact that we dominated possession and didn't even allow Stoke a look in at goal was a plus point. our next 6 epl games btw are 21 Jan, Bolton Wanderers v Liverpool Reebok (Stadium, Bolton) 31 Jan, Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool (Molineux, Wolverhampton) 6 Feb, Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur (Anfield, Liverpool) 11 Feb, Manchester United v Liverpool (Old Trafford, Manchester) 25 Feb, Liverpool v Everton Anfield, Liverpool 2 Mar Liverpool v Arsenal (Anfield, Liverpool) Do you think we have more draw's to come in the following 6 fixtures ? how many points will we pick up from those games ?

Resolved Question: So Tottenham Hotspur are level on points with Manchester United after 20 games ? more...
1/11/2012 4:51:10 PM
United are -11 GD behind City , and Spurs are -11 GD behind United on 45 pts. Chelsea having played same no. of games as Spurs sit on 37 pts and we sit on 34 pts. too early to be talking about who will win the league btw - lets start talking around game 28 onwards. with 10 left to go. Thats where Fergie's lot are strong imo. Can't re-iterate this point enough folks, but we still are only slight over the half way stage in the 2011/12 Barclays EPL Campaign. 18 more long games to go. If Manchester United are having a 'crisis' , then i'd love to be seeing my club in their position having their 'crisis ' - sitting in 2nd. i believe the title will be contested between City and United and Tottenham's title aspirations will have faded out with a hand ful of games left to decide where it does eventualy go (i.e with 5 or 6 games left to go). in fact, i believe the likes of ourselves, Arsenal and Chelsea could blow the title race wide open at some point in the final stages of the season - and obviously its the team that picks up most points in the last few games that will run away with it. Probably Fergie's men. Spurs to win the title ? nah - They haven't secured 3rd spot - nm the title. 18 long games to go @ Spurs fans. I hope you've enjoyed the good run thus far. You're going to get embroiled into a CL spot fight with Chelsea, Arsenal and ourselves.

Resolved Question: Was Harry Redknapp a bit disrespectful? more...
1/6/2012 10:40:43 AM
When he said he's ''never heard'' of Ganso? I assume he was being sarcastic. There is at least a small potential for Ganso to be one of the World's best players in 3 or 4 years time. Imagine if Redknapp was England manager at the 2010 WC, I bet he would have ''never heard'' of Ozil either, who tore England apart. Also, Redknapp says that as if Ganso would be desperate to join Spurs but isn't good enough. LOL. Ganso has probably never heard of Tottenham Hotspur, and would never join a small club, he'll only leave Santos for a big club like Milan, Madrid or United. If Redknapp had heard of Ganso and put in a bid, Ganso would probably laugh in his face and tell Redknapp that there are youth futsal teams in his country with more skill than the Spurs players. So was Redknapp being abit silly?

Lazio from the Serie A will be offering 7mil for him which Redknall will probrobly accept and is a better choice porque José Antonio Reyes is closer to Sevilla right now Gio should be concentrated on getting playing time Pero idk if he will at lazio since they have two good winger but both are over 30 so maybe they want to replace them plus they are offering 7mil which is more than any transfer the spent on in the summer Lazio is a good team they are currently 4th in the Serie A and maybe could play in the champs league and Gio should be concentrated on gettin playing time not going to whatever team he wants I will lose some respect for him if he doesnt take it unless their is a better porque this offer is better than going to udinese Here are some of the articles http://www.insidefutbol.com/2011/12/31/lazio-eye-raid-on-tottenham-hotspur-for-giovani-dos-santos/55348/ http://www.fichajes.com/7-meur-pueden-llevar-a-giovani-dos-santos-a-italia_39197

Tony Pulis: "Tottenham have been absolutely outstanding this season, and I believe they are the only side who are competing with Manchester United and Manchester City at the moment. Harry has done a remarkable job there, by improving them year on year. They are even better this season than they were last." Harry Redknapp: "Luka's future is here. No one is for sale. We are keeping our best players and if anything we will be adding to the squad not selling. That's the message from me and the chairman [Daniel Levy]. We won't be weakening this squad. If one or two positions open up where fringe players want to go then we will look at that but we are not going to sell our best players or anyone we want to keep."
