Abstract truths seduce and repel us within popular culture. The essence of the anomalous and counter intuitive fuels the media with the bread and butter of sensationalist features and editorials, from the anniversary of Roswell, the anniversary of NASA and space exploration to the work of SETI. The public domain is a place where pseudo science is apportioned the somewhat dubious privilege of sale worthy attention, whilst not fundamentally amounting to an entirely consistent discourse.
For many years I have become immersed in a personal desire to search with an open mind for a working model of reality that penetrates beyond the mundane parochial realms of everyday perceptions. I reach out towards a model of science and spiritualism that integrates the collective consciousness, equipping us with a more textured perspective on our own Gaia and beyond. It is without a doubt the promise and romance of alternative realities and conceptions of ourselves that attract the media to the supernatural, ufology and sci-fi science.
Researchers with a more sophisticated eye within the field might quickly become disillusioned with the disinformation, politics and power interplay between the purveyors of truth and sincerity, versus clandestine vested interests of the traditionally labelled ’secret state’ approach. Yet in the current climate we find ourselves in, the stakes for disclosure of information could barely be higher. Alleged ‘reverse engineering’ initiatives on UFO technologies if viable, it has been argued, could for example provide concrete methods for establishing progressive sources of energy to take us beyond the narrow remit of our present status of ecological crises.
The polemic is unfolding and the more one searches for information, the greater the centrality of the subject becomes for the conscious mind. The paradigms are shifting and it is no longer the case that ‘alien agendas’ are simply evocative plots conveyed through the remit of popular fiction and the film industry. An increasingly impressive cast of professionals from many walks of life are providing us with ever-tangible accounts and assessments of UFO phenomena and enriching our philosophical understanding of our place in the structure of the cosmos. Rarely are these issues removed from the every day terra firma of our lives- I am always seeking out the most diverse and plausible sources and will maintain a blog of those links and features that catch my eye in encouraging a progressive methodology toward the ’abstract maxims’ and sometimes counter intuitive realities which we seek and evolve toward. Quantum physics is truly unfolding the complex and sometimes perverse realities of the spiritual ‘multiverse’ in which we inhabit.

Hoaxes- Tackling The John Titor Story. This community weblog offers some constructive perspectives on the enigma of John Titor- an internet legend, now assumed to be a hoax as the major predictions of John, who claimed to be a time traveller from 2036, have to date failed to emerge. I would add a few words of caution in respects to any degree of certainty over this tale however. John’s ’superverse’ worldline argument makes it hard to falsify his claims entirely- we do not know whether he gauged the coincidence between the linear events in our wordlines accurately. I personally found the original posts to be delivered with a rather chilling ora of indifference in regard to our assessment of John’s status. In respects to some of the fine details of his posts, there are some unnervingly accurate statements posited on many subjects from medicine (not simply predictions on mad cow disease), politics and day to day events- the 2012 Olympics are certainly not proving to be uncontroversial logistically! As a cultural/ metaphorical allegory the essence of Titor’s prophecies resonate to a point with me..

Serpo- Release 27-Nov ‘07. President Reagan and the ET Question. The Serpo story is another enchanting tale, subject to the forces of potential disinformation through a truncated disclosure process regarding an alleged alien exchange programme that took place between 1965-78. Serpo has already been said to have inspired aspects of Spielberg’s ‘Close Encounters Of The Third Kind’. The most recent infomation release features a transcription of an apparent briefing between President Reagan and his advisors on the ET question. Worth a read through..

Thought that I should remember to add my American Chronicle feature that recently explored this weblog concept beginning with my news sources for ‘Maxims I. Possibilities for the future are explored for an Abstract Maxims II with some of Dr. Greer’s endeavours from his alternative SETI organisation CSETI (Centre for the Study of ET intelligence), to his more recent Orion Project of this year, which is an attempt to develop sustainable energy sources to protect the environment.
Ideas for A. Maxims III are to examine the concepts of Prof. Gerard O’Neill, an often overlooked theorist who had ambitions to expand toward lunar mining and space colonies to relieve our need for further resources and living areas. - Worthy of serious consideration, addressing fundamental crises issues of today..

India Daily- June 2008. The ever innovative India Daily ‘technology team’ have certanly been at work again recently, producing a lively range of commentaries on the changing world we co-exist in, evoking a quintessential style of integrated philosophy quite unique to themselves.. One of their recent features is on the Hadron particle collider, at Cern laboratory in Geneva, due to be switched on this August. This forthcoming exploration into scale-size black holes and dark matter is forecast to maturate us humans towards gaining ‘Type 1′ status as an advancing civilisation from a baseline ‘Type 0′. It is hoped also that the conditions prevailing soon after the beginnings of the universe might be better understood, (i.e) the building blocks of the natural world are to be simulated/ deconstructed.
V. recommended- The Guardian special issue ‘The Big Bang Machine’ offers a thorough exploration of the key issues and potential outcomes of this seminal experiment by Cern scientists and is available with The Guardian newspaper on 1st July.

21. The Independent. June ‘08. Nick Jackson interviews Dr David Clarke, a journalism lecturer from Sheffield Hallam University. The interview explores the problems experienced by researchers in an academic environment in respect to the formalised study of UFO phenomena. Dr Clarke notes that the subject is often not granted funding or taken seriously, although he suggests that there is a diverse potential for fruitful multi disciplinary study of exopolitics and UFO related issues through sociology, psychology, anthropology and atmospheric physics.
